Composed of the works and processes of disabled students, this curation invites us to consider how sensations invoked through art can interrupt neurotypical processes of thinking. Exploring sensations of repetition, overflow, and commotion/co-motion, the exhibit provokes us to imagine the many ways by which we make sense of our worlds.

There are dried flower petals, lavender, seed pods, and fibers on top of handmade paper that is sketched and drawn on with crayon.][a photo from the collaborative “overflow” paper pulp station. Pulp in various forms is scattered across the table, a braided piece of purple fiber hangs over, and there is light, sounds and energy moving through the space.][a photo of a student artist book hanging from the ceiling. The cover contains cut out squares of fabric aligned in rows to create windows below the stenciled word “HOUSE”. Behind the book light reflects and diffracts through windows of paper.][A photo of the “co-motion” station which contains the generative music app “Bloom” on top of spread out fibers and papers.][A photo of student accordion books floating from the ceiling, their treasures and collages peeking out and hanging from their pages. Light pours through and fibers and papers hang down.]
